My name is Takeallah and I am the new AmeriCorps College Access Coordinator.  I am originally from Memphis, Tennessee.  My family includes my mom, my brother, and my son.  I currently live in Lakewood, WA. I studied Interdisciplinary Studies, Business Management, Creating and Sustaining A Green Classroom in college.  My favorite quote is “”I am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own.”- Audre Lorde.  My favorite places in the 253 include Children’s Museum of Tacoma, Pacific Grill, Frisco Freeze, and the waterfront.
