Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between PLU and the Parkland (greater Tacoma) community , lead Parkland tours (walking and driving) , and promote service opportunities in the immediate Parkland area.

Biography

Antonio “Tono” Sablan is a Sociology Major with a minor in Non-Profit Leadership. He grew up on the Eastside of Tacoma and later moved to Parkland where he graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 2014.  Tono’s motto is “I am one with the people.”  When Tono is not at work or school, he is watching movies at Tacoma’s independent Grand Cinema, going on late-night runs to Frisko Freeze with friends, or exploring the greater Pierce County area on drives.
