Approved Programs

A PLU Approved Program is a study away summer, semester, or year-long program that is offered by another study away organization or institution. These programs have been reviewed and approved by the Global Education Committee (GEC) for their high academic quality and for their shared goals in intercultural learning and understanding.

Approved programs are recommended to students who are unable to find a suitable program to fit their needs among the PLU Gateway or Featured program options.

Many of the program providers below offer multiple programs around the globe. Please be aware that not all programs offered by a provider organization may be approved by PLU. Only those programs listed in our program finder are open to PLU students. The Wang Center recommends searching for Approved Programs via our Program Finder; you may also visit the provider’s website for further information.

Please note: Students MUST meet with a study away advisor in the Wang Center prior to applying for an Approved program and adhere to the PLU deadlines and requirements for application. Contact the Wang Center to schedule an advising appointment.
