¡Hola! My name is Emma Davison and I am a junior at PLU majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Hispanic Studies. I studied away in the fall of my sophomore year in Oaxaca, Mexico where I was able to finish my Hispanic Studies minor with classes focusing on the indigenous people of the region. I spent the spring of my sophomore year studying in Oxford, England with PLU’s International Honors Program. These semester programs allowed me to venture outside of my major to explore the cultures and politics of my host countries. In both semesters, I was able to find my way back to my major through the internship opportunity in Oaxaca and the flexibility of the tutorial system at the University of Oxford. I am delighted to be a part of the Wang Center team and to help students discover the study away opportunities through PLU!
