Wilbert Ericson

Wilbert Ericson is 97 years old and has still not retired. He served four years in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II and recently was selected as the Veteran of the Month by Fox Valley Veterans Breakfast Club. Since he was ordained on June 14, 1953, he has served as a missionary in Japan for 35 years and continues to preach and teach. Recently, he was presented with a placard from ELCA Chicago Synod as a testimonial of commendation and gratitude in recognition of his 65th anniversary of his ordination.
