Alan Herr

Alan Herr, married to Karen (Bennett) Herr ’92, passed away on June 2, 2021 after an eight-year battle with lung cancer. Alan, a research assistant professor in the Department of Lab Medicine and Pathology at the University of Washington, was a loving husband and devoted father to his three daughters. Fellow Lutes will remember him for his joyful dedication to the cross country and track teams, his passion for science and research, and his deep Christian faith that carried him through his beautiful life journey.
