Sandra (Bowdish) Kreis

Sandra (Bowdish) Kreis passed away at age 80 on All Saints Day, Nov. 1, 2022. Sandra served several churches in the Northwest including Concrete, Puyallup, Aberdeen, and Olympia in Washington. Sandra was one of the very first to accomplish a woman’s ordination with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. She taught Philosophy of Religion at Skagit Valley College, and initiated a ministry to dropout and runaway youths in Seattle that was funded by seven Lutheran churches, and the city of Seattle.
