Since Aug. 9—exactly 125 days before PLU’s 125th anniversary—we’ve been sharing one historic PLU object each day with Lutes all over the world via plu.edu/resolute. Individually, the objects offer sometimes-amusing and always-informative glimpses into the life of PLU; together, they tell our multilayered story in a way no single object ever could.

This fall, Lutes had two awesome opportunities to view some of the 125 objects in person:

  • On Saturday, Oct. 10, during Homecoming’s PLU at 125 Wine Walk, featuring a selection of the 125 objects and a sampling of scrumptious alumni wines.
  • And from Sept. 26-Nov. 10 at the Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard, Wash., in a special PLU exhibition called “PLU at 125: Lutheran Education on the Frontier.”

(A special thank you to PLU Archives & Special Collections Curator Kerstin Ringdahl and her assistant, Chelsea Hebert.)
