Raymond Tau On Ho ’62 died May 29, 2014.

Tau On Ho died May 29, 2014. Ray was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1939 to Choy Kyau Ho and Dorothy Lam. There he spent his childhood before moving to Washington to attend Pacific Lutheran University, where he earned his bachelor of arts in education in 1962. In 1970, Ray earned his master’s in fine arts in ceramics from the University of Puget Sound. The majority of Ray’s career was spent as an art teacher and, later, as a residential contractor. In addition, Ray grew vibrant gardens, cooked extravagant meals and continually created works of art with his powerful hands. Ray is survived by his wife, Carolyn; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Erin Ho; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Sarah Ho; five grandchildren, Eleah, Lillian, Evan, Chloe and Sidney; sister, Nathalie (Ho) Hee ’57; and brothers, Ron Ho ’58 and Tim Ho.
