Charles W. “Bill” Carlson

Charles W. “Bill” Carlson passed away in Chehalis, WA on Aug. 24, 2019 at 90 years of age. In 1961, Bill decided to go to college after operating a family farm for 16 years. Bill earned an associate degree from Centralia College, bachelors of education and master of arts from PLU. After graduating Bill began his teaching career in the Chehalis School District where he taught for 25 years. After retiring in 1989, Bill and his wife Adele enjoyed traveling. Bill is survived by his wife of 69 years, three children, four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
