Welcome to Pacific Lutheran University!

International Student Services (ISS) is committed in providing programs and services to support for both academic and personal development of international students. ISS staff works closely with other university offices and student leaders to provide comprehensive services to maximize educational and personal experiences of each international student. ISS represents PLU in working with Student and Exchange Visitor Program administered by United States Custom and Boarder Protection, United States Department of Homeland Security.  

Objectives:

  • Provide special programs that support the transition, adjustment and leadership development of students.
  • Monitor and advise students with regards to F-1 student visa regulations and assist in request benefits.
  • Assist students who are facing academic, financial and personal difficulties in coordination with faculty and other university resources and community agencies.
  • To promote international education through campus and community outreach.
