Orientation for new faculty is not a one-time event but continues throughout the academic year. It serves the following purposes: to welcome you into this community of teacher-scholars and our common educational mission; to help you explore the distinctive character of Lutheran higher education; to provide resources to support your teaching, a sense of our students, and important information regarding schedules and deadlines; and assist you in achieving a healthy balance between teaching, professional activity, and service to the university.

Academic Regalia for Opening Convocation - Tuesday, September 8
Faculty assemble in academic regalia at 8:45 AM in Mortvedt Library. If you need to rent academic regalia for Opening Convocation, you may do so with Royal T/Herff Jones. To place an order e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Ordering begins on August 3rd - 28th and orders are available for pick-up beginning at 8:00 AM at the library on September 8th.
