Welcome to the Office of the Provost

The Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, also known as Chief Academic Officer, at PLU is responsible to the President and the Board of Regents for reporting on all academic affairs and activities.  The Provost oversees all academic divisions and professional schools, as well as Information and Technology Services, the Wang Center for Global Education and Enrollment Services.

The Office of the Provost coordinates numerous projects and events, including faculty reviews, sabbaticals, faculty fall conference, student-faculty research celebration, faculty teaching evaluations, providing faculty support, and planning the academic budget.  We also work closely with the Provost Office Annex, which consists of the  Associate Provost for Undergraduate Programs, and University Assessment, Accreditation and Research.

Rental Regalia for Spring Commencement 2016

For those Faculty needing regalia for Spring Commencement, rental regalia is available through Royal-T/Herff Jones. To place an order e-mail Please include the following information when placing your order: Name, Phone Number, Degree Title, Institution (from which degree was awarded), Height and Weight. You will receive confirmation and an invoice by email once your order has been processed.

The deadline for ordering is May 25th. Orders placed after the deadline may not be filled due to time/delivery constraints.
