Welcome to the Office of the Provost

The Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, also known as Chief Academic Officer, at PLU is responsible to the President and the Board of Regents for reporting on all academic affairs and activities.  The Provost oversees all academic divisions and professional schools, as well as Information and Technology Services, the Wang Center for Global Education and Enrollment Services.

The Office of the Provost coordinates numerous projects and events, including faculty reviews, sabbaticals, faculty fall conference, student-faculty research celebration, faculty teaching evaluations, providing faculty support, and planning the academic budget.  We also work closely with the Provost Office Annex, which consists of the  Associate Provost for Undergraduate Programs, and University Assessment, Accreditation and Research.

Academic Regalia for Opening Convocation - Tuesday, September 6

Faculty assemble in academic regalia at 8:45 AM in Mortvedt Library. If you need to rent academic regalia for Opening Convocation, you may do so with Royal T/Herff Jones. To place an order e-mail Ordering begins on August 1st - 30th and orders are available for pick-up beginning at 8:00 AM at the library on September 6th.
