I&TS Support Services During Distance Learning Period

As the university transitions to distance learning with most faculty and staff working remotely, Information & Technology Services (I&TS) continues to provide support services. Though most I&TS staff are working remotely, we’ll do our best to help you in a timely manner.

Sakai Support: Email sakai@plu.edu for technical support questions pertaining to Sakai or to schedule a one-on-one consultation via phone or web conferencing.

Instructional Technology Support: For help with screencasting, Zoom, Google Hangouts Meet, video/audio recording, and other Instructional Technologies, contact itech@plu.edu. One-on-one consultations via phone or web conferencing are available.

Help Desk Support: The Help Desk in the Library is closed until further notice and Help Desk staff will be working remotely. For help with computers, software, or networking contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@plu.edu or by putting a request into our ticketing system directly at helpdesk.plu.edu.

The Instructional Technologies team is focused on providing four key services:

Classroom Technologies – Computer, projectors, and smart podium equipment to project your media in class.

Instructional Technologies – Support to integrate instructional technologies to meet your pedagogical goals.

Event Support – Technology, support, and production services for your meetings and events.

Technology Learning Opportunities – Workshops, course-integrated instruction, and one-on-one consultations.
