Robin Wright

PLU is pleased to announce the visit of author, foreign policy analyst and award-winning journalist Robin Wright, who will share her views on the Islamic world and talk about her friendship with Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was killed in Libya on the anniversary of 9-11 last year when militants attacked the embassy.

The Chris Stevens Memorial Lecture will celebrate the life of an extraordinary public servant and former Peace Corps volunteer. It seeks to build knowledge in the PLU community about the Middle East and North Africa and the region’s ties with the United States and to demonstrate pathways to building lasting peace. The PLU community is honored to be joined by friends and family of the late Ambassador, including a close family member, a first year Lute.
