RESIDENCY

"Residency leaves me brimming with ideas, information that informs my whole year."

Residency for 2014 will be August 3-13

New participants should arrive on Saturday, August 2

Residencies consist of faculty talks and panels, workshops, afternoon classes, evening readings – all designed to help you see how mentors think about writing and to stimulate your own thoughts in new directions.

Residency-one

Who are the Participants?

Independent, motivated, adults from seventeen different states. Among them, they represent a variety of professions, including in education, law, banking, nursing, theater, journalism, etc. Their common denominator is a love of reading, a commitment to the process, and an open curiosity.

"This residency – compressed time – has provided me with a time, with a time out of time, that has allowed me to immerse myself in language, contemporaries, the writing world."
