Hello PLU Students,
We are writing to provide an update regarding the elections that were scheduled to occur this week to fill various ASPLU seats for the upcoming academic year. ASPLU will not be holding elections for the 2025-2026 academic year. Instead, we are taking the next year to conduct a comprehensive program review. This process will help determine how ASPLU can be restructured to best serve as an effective student governance body for Pacific Lutheran University students starting with the 2026 – 2027 academic year.
A group of students is working with advisors to develop next steps to begin this program review. More information will be shared with the broader student body, including ways that PLU students can engage with this process, before the end of the academic year.
