THE PLU MBA

The PLU-MBA is founded on the cornerstones of leadership, innovation, global awareness and ethical responsibility.  When you graduate, you will be equipped to adapt strategically to uncertainty and stimulate change in any organization.

Designed for working professionals just like you-the program takes just 20-22 months to complete and is flexible enough to adapt to your busy life.  Classes are held in the evenings.  Typically, a student comes to campus two evenings per week.

PLU is the only Northwest University to be listed every year within the top 15 western region masters-bachelors universities in the "Best Colleges" survey, published annually by U.S. News & World Report.

The School of Business at PLU was founded in 1965 and is one of only 30 percent of all business schools accredited by AACSB International -and one of only two here in the South Puget Sound.  AACSB International is the premier world-wide accrediting body for schools of business.

MBA Executive Leadership Speaker Series

The State Farm MBA Executive Leadership Series is funded through a generous grant from State Farm.  The MBA program at PLU is fundamentally focused on developing dynamic leaders in the global business environment.  Because of this, it is part of the mission of the School of Business to bring to campus those who can share their experiences and expertise to help guide and shape the future leaders of our communities.

The MBA Speaker series features business leaders and is open to students, alumni, and community friends.

The series is held in the Morken Center, Room 103-Public Events Room, from 6PM-7PM.  Events are free with no RSVP required unless otherwise noted.  Please join us!

MBA students develop marketing program for nonprofit organization

On November 12, 2009, Professor Tuzovic and one of his MBA students, David Brown, attended the 16th Annual Executive Development Institute (EDI) Graduation Dinner in Bellevue. Founded in 1994, EDI provides culturally-tailored leadership programs for Asian-American and Hispanic professionals. A group of four EDI graduates has consulted with The Tronie Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by Trong and Rani Hong to alleviate human trafficking and restore victim’s lives through education, community mobilization, policy reform, shelter and services.
