Foreign Language Center, 2018 Biography Kara Atkinson is currently serving her second year as the Vet Corps Navigator at Pacific Lutheran University. Kara medically retired from the United States Army as a Specialist in 2019. She graduated from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center with her Associate of Arts in Egyptian Arabic in 2018.
