Update December 16, 2022.
The Health Center is open for phone visits and in-person visits Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, closed for lunch from 12-1
We will continue providing occasional phone visits but in-person visits for routine care have been resumed. Appointments will continue to be scheduled by phone (253-535-7337). Please do not walk into the clinic to schedule an appointment. If you are concerned about any illness symptoms, please call to speak with a provider. This allows us to triage our patients and keep the clinic safe for staff, and patients scheduled for non-illness appointments. If you have any illness symptoms on the day of your in-person appointment, please call in the morning to determine whether a COVID test is necessary before your visit.
All patients are required to wear a mask upon arriving in the Health Center (unless you have a specific health problem that makes wearing a mask difficult).
We continue to do on-site, rapid COVID-19 testing for students who are experiencing symptoms consistent with the virus. These appointments will happen in our COVID booth on the east side of the building. iHealth rapid COVID antigen test kits are available at no-cost in the Health Center, the Campus Safety office and Old Main Market. Please call the Health Center to report any positive off-campus or iHealth test results. As of December 15, 2022, the US government has again made home tests available through the US Postal Service. The Tacoma Pierce County Health Department continues to offer many options for testing. This information can be found at the TPCHD testing website.
- Routine care, including travel consults, routine bloodwork, and pap smears, has resumed with in-person visits.
- We will continue STD testing, acute reproductive and sexual healthcare for men and women, and injury care.
- Refills will be done electronically, or in the clinic if you receive them from us. Please allow 72 hours for refills to be completed.
Outside of normal clinic hours, we strongly encourage you to use Lute TeleHealth for urgent concerns. Additionally, the MultiCare nurse consulting line is available by calling 253-792-6410. Additional medical resources are available elsewhere on our website.
