Biography

Aimee graduated from the University of Washington in 2004 and has focused her work in psychiatry since 2000.  She is nationally credentialed through the ANCC as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  She has gained a wide range of experience in psychiatric settings, in community mental health, in both rural and more urban locations.  Aimee also has experience in working with Veterans and serving the Native American population, in addition to working within the correctional system.

Her practice and treatment is focused on medication management and supportive therapy.  Aimee believes it is crucial to have a collaborative relationship with not only her patients, but other professionals involved in their care.  Aimee notes that she feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with both PLU Health Services and Counseling Services teams and to provide additional mental health support for PLU students.  Aimee is contracted to work remotely on Thursdays via virtual services only.
