SUSTAINABILITY:What's it all about?

Sustainability is in our mission here at PLU, "to educate students for lives of thoughtful inquiry, service, leadership and care - for other persons, for their communities and for the earth." It is the responsibility of not only the students but the faculty and staff as well to become conscious of their effects on the environment, and to help us make strides in becoming a sustainable campus community.

RecycleMania

Recyclemania is starting soon! From February 8th until March 31st, PLU is participating in Recyclemania, a friendly competition between over 600 colleges and universities to see which campuses recycle the most. To coincide with this, there will be several activities and events promoting recycling and sustainability. Keep an eye on the campus calendar for details.
