Dr. Michael Zbaraschuk, a fifth-generation Washingtonian, returns to PLU from the University of Washington Tacoma, where he was a lecturer in the Politics, Philosophy and Economics program of the
Kirkland, teaching Spanish and Humanities, as well as coordinating the language program. He also began teaching the occasional summer or J-Term class at PLU, which eventually led to his current position.
