TESOL Certification Course
Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
A non-credit course to prepare you to teach non-native English speakers either abroad or in English-speaking countries. Online course, taught in 5 consecutive sessions. All sessions required. Series begins in August 2024. Discount available for PLU community.
Introduction to Medical Interpreting (Spanish)
This course is a preparatory course for those looking to become state-certified medical interpreters. This is a fully grant-funded course, thanks to Virginia Mason/Franciscan Health, and applications for registration can be requested at ce@plu.edu. First cohort begins March 4, 2024 and registration for that course is now closed. Subsequent cohorts scheduled for Summer and Fall.
