For those individuals who have completed their safety orientation through the Habitat for Humanity offices. We invite you to participate in the PLU build day, hosted on June 7th, 2014. The build will take place at the Golden Givens build site located off of Golden Givens Rd. Please make sure that all interested parties have signed up through their Habitat VolunteerUP website.

The Tacoma Communities in Schools (CIS) coordinates with the PLU School of Education and Kinesiology works and the ASC to, in turn, coordinate volunteer donations of school supplies. Drop box sites for school supply donations are offered throughout campus prior to the beginning of the fall semester.

Administrative and staff employees nominate and vote for individuals within their respective divisions to represent them on the Administrative Staff Council (ASC). The ASC representatives are elected to two-year terms, but new representatives are staggered every other year. Even though our fiscal year coincides with PLU, June 1 through May 31, we kick off our new year with an open house every fall to introduce our new representatives. We look forward to seeing you!

Thank you for showing your patriotism and honoring our present and past veterans in addition to recognizing our students and faculty in the PLU ROTC program.  Please come and join us in celebrating those in the military.  A reception will immediately follow the ceremony. PLU hosts an annual Christmas Luncheon for faculty and staff.  This is a great event to see PLU friends and meet others on campus.  Employees are recognized at this celebratory event with the following awards:  Distinguished Staff and Administrator Awards, Service Awards, Quigg Awards, and Faculty Excellence Awards.
