Vet Corps Navigator | Military Affiliated Students | kara.atkinson@plu.edu | 253-535-7412 | Kara Atkinson is currently serving her second year as the Vet Corps Navigator at Pacific Lutheran University. Kara medically retired from the United States Army as a Specialist in 2019.
Graduate Student at the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies. In her time as a student at PLU, Kara received Dean’s List recognition and participated in the Dale E. Benson Summer Research Fellowship for Business and Economic History. She also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant (HIST 103: Modern World Conflicts and POLS 231: Terrorism and Extremism) and was the President of Phi Alpha Theta (History Honors Society).
