Pacific Lutheran provides the distinctive PLU Liberal Arts Experience integrated with thoughtful inquiry into the disciplines and professional programs.  “Improving the PLU Experience” highlights examples of the passion faculty bring to unceasingly inquiring on how to improve student learning in alignment with the mission of Service, Leadership and Care. The collective faculty focus on student learning for students is a unique feature of the PLU faculty culture.  Difficult to measure, difficult to explain in a sound byte perhaps – but authentic work in examining student learning and modifying methods to enhance student success.

Led by Director Dr. Dave Veazey, the Office of University Assessment, Accreditation & Research serves PLU in providing timely and accurate information and analysis to inform decision making and strategic planning at all levels of the institution. Assistant Director Pat Wodaege maintains quality control of the data and manages both internal and external surveys and reports. Our purpose is to serve PLU – Please contact us with any curiosity.
