How to Apply for PLU Fast Track

Fast Track Admission

A Fast Track application process is available for current PLU undergraduate and graduate students from any major and recent PLU alumni seeking admission to a School of Business graduate program. Space for Fast Track students may be limited and competitive. The streamlined admission process consists of a no-charge  Fast Track application.  A candidate remains admitted to the graduate program as long as the candidate completes the conditions of admission explained below. If a candidate loses Fast Track status, the candidate may reapply to the program using the standard graduate admission process.

Current Undergraduate Students

Candidates who are currently working on a PLU undergraduate degree may apply for Fast Track admission to a School of Business graduate program at any time.

Application:

  • No application fee
  • No GMAT or GRE scores
  • No essay
  • No letters of recommendation

Conditions to retain Fast Track Admission:

  • Completion of a PLU degree with a 3.0 GPA in their Upper-Division (300 and 400 level) classes.
  • Candidates for the MSMR and the MSF programs must complete a minimum of 3 classes of quantitative course work with an average GPA of 3.0 in the quantitative courses.
    • These courses may come from a wide range of quantitative courses offered across campus, which might include courses from Business, Economics, Math, Psychology, etc. The evaluation of completion of this requirement is determined by the Program Director.
    • School of Business undergraduate students fulfill this requirement by completing the degree requirements.

Graduate Students

Candidates who are currently enrolled in a PLU graduate degree may apply for Fast Track graduate admission to a second graduate degree in the School of Business.

Application:

  • No application fee
  • No GMAT or GRE scores
  • No essay
  • No letters of recommendation

Conditions to retain Fast Track Admission:

  • Completion of a PLU graduate degree with a 3.0 GPA in their graduate classes.
  • Candidates for the MSMR and the MSF programs must complete a minimum of 3 classes of quantitative course work with an average GPA of 3.0 in the quantitative courses.
    • These courses may come from a wide range of quantitative courses offered across campus, which might include courses from Business, Economics, Math, Psychology, etc. The evaluation of completion of this requirement is determined by the Program Director.
    • School of Business undergraduate students fulfill this requirement by completing the degree requirements.

Recent Alumni

Candidates who have completed, in the last five years, a degree in any major from PLU may apply for Fast Track alumni admission to a School of Business graduate program.

Application:

  • No application fee
  • One letter of recommendation
  • Resume noting work experience
  • No GMAT or GRE scores unless the alumnus does not have work experience or is unable to get a letter of recommendation
  • No essay

Conditions to retain Fast Track Admission:
