Biography:

Beth previously worked for six years as the certification officer in the School of Education and Movement Studies maintaining program files for all students earning a Washington State teaching certificate. As Senior Evaluations Administrator, she is responsible for evaluating credits of students presently attending and applying to PLU. She may also evaluate CLEP, International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement, international credits, and transfer credits taken by current PLU students. Beth performs progress checks of general education program elements (GenEd) and provides guidance about academic options and confirms progress toward completion of general education program elements. Other duties include assisting in the academic review of students who have achieved junior status/applied for graduation, determining the course equivalencies between PLU and other institutions, and maintaining the exception to academic requirements database.
