Lori Lee Wallace, Director | William Shakespeare, Playwright

Considered one of Shakespeare’s darkest and most powerful tragedies, the play dramatizes the corrosive psychological and political effects produced when the Scottish lord Macbeth chooses evil as the way to power. After committing regicide to become king, he furthers his moral descent with a reign of murderous terror. He loses everything that gives meaning and purpose to his life, before losing his life itself.
