Kat is originally from Texas, however, comes to PLU most recently from Ohio. She earned her B.S. in Psychology, International Studies and Asian Studies from Baldwin-Wallace College (Baldwin Wallace University) in Berea, Ohio. Kat received her M.A. in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.  Kat was born in Houston, Texas and has lived all over, from Virginia, to Pennsylvania, Germany, to Ohio.  After being in Ohio for six years, Kat is loving the outdoor adventures that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.  After working for a year in Harstad Hall, Kat is looking forward to beginning her second year at PLU in Hong and Hinderlie Halls.  In her free time, Kat enjoys trying new foods, reading, watching movies, traveling, playing with her cats (Grayson Carter and Boo), and exploring the outdoors.
