International Honors Application

In order to be considered for the International Honors Program, please complete the following form and personal essay. In addition to these components, faculty will also consider your high school transcript and test scores, which have already been received through your application for admission.

Please answer the following essay prompt in a Word Document and attach below. You must include your full name and email address on the top left corner of your essay.

Choose a book you recently read that addresses a culture other than your own. Without summarizing the book, explain how this work, fiction or nonfiction, transformed your understanding of that culture and your own.

As you write, please keep in mind that faculty members are looking for essays that illustrate your critical thinking skills, and they are a key component to acceptance into the Honors Program.

(Suggested length: between 300-350 words)
