Greetings from Pacific Lutheran University's Partnerships and Professional Development Office

Partnerships and Professional Development (PPD) is a division within the School of Education & Movement Studies focusing on professional development for in-service teachers. We strive to give those who qualify for our programs opportunities to excel in their profession and exceed the basic requirements for continued certification.

Two major programs for in-service instructor professional development are the Washington State Professional Certificate (ProCert) and the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). Principals and administrators can receive professional development as well, through our Administrator ProCert program. We also provide summer classes for instructors seeking to teach AP* and pre-AP* courses.
