International Student Services

Multicultural Night Event 2009

A fun event with full of cultural interactive activities which was hosted by Diversity Center

At PLU, we take student involvement seriously.  Take a look around you—everywhere you look there are programs happening, clubs meeting, discussion being had.  The meaningful intersection of classroom and life is what the college experience is about!  Now that you're here, we think that there are a few clubs, organizations, and activities that you'd be interested in as an international student.

Global Student Club

GSC's mission is to promote and encourage the global connections within and outside the PLU community, and to encourage interactions between international and domestics students for cultural and social exchange. Come to our activities or bi-weekly meetings! Contact 2012-2013 Club President, Nomiun Gankhuyag at: gankhuna@plu.edu

International Student Activities Calendar

This calendar has list of events sponsored by GSC, ISS or other on-campus organizations which we suggest Int'l Students to attend! The link is coming up soon!

Diversity Center

The dCenter sponsors some of the most exciting events on campus. The dCenter normally has 3-4 student leader positions called Diversity Advocates. Each of Advocate has special focus and one of them is called Diversity Advocate for International Programs. This Diversity Advocate's job is to help you, the international student, to feel welcome in the dCenter space, as well as setting up programs that tailor to your needs and desires as an international student.  Have ideas?  Want to share your culture with the rest of the PLU campus?  Find your International Diversity Advocate and put them to work!
