Improving the Student-Athlete Experience
The Lute Club Athletics Fund is dedicated to supporting athletics at Pacific Lutheran University by providing students the opportunities and resources necessary to compete at a high level. All student-athletes benefit from Lute Club funds. Your gifts to Lute Club help support:
- Non-conference travel. Due to our location in the Pacific Northwest, PLU athletes must travel out of the area to compete in tournaments and other non-conference games and matches. Providing this travel opportunity is essential to our teams remaining competitive and providing a quality student-athlete experience.
- Recruitment. Recruiting talented student-athletes is becoming more and more competitive and is essential to maintaining a successful Division III program. Providing travel opportunities for our coaches to evaluate and recruit quality student-athletes to PLU is vital to our competitive success.
