Andrea grew up in northern Idaho and has lived for the last 15 years in Washington, where she enjoys camping, hiking and exploring the state’s diverse geology and habitats. She has worked in a variety of fields, including healthcare publishing, museums, and art and environmental organizations, and is excited to now work in the liberal arts higher education context. In all her work, she strives to connect people with information and causes that improve the lives of individuals and communities to create a better world. When she’s not out in nature, Andrea can be found drinking copious amounts of tea, cooking, reading and writing. She lives in Tacoma with her husband Karl and cat Norm.
