The School of Business Fund for Excellence will help to secure opportunities for students to enhance their studies and gain professional experience as they prepare to enter the workforce.

Internships

This critical part of their undergraduate study offers students first-hand experience in a business environment; helping them build practical competencies and cultivate relationships with potential employers.

These organizations connect students with their chosen profession, giving them an advantage when entering the workforce. Activities include off-campus trips, guest speakers, and sponsored regional and national competitions.

Student-Faculty Research

As a hallmark of PLU, students work closely with faculty on research projects applicable to their chosen field.

Executives-in-Residence

Qualified practitioners are invited to spend up to a week in the classroom offering lectures or relevant short-term seminars.

Career Mentor Program

This program connects PLU business students with alumni mentors from the professional community to help guide them as they explore career opportunities.
