Thank you for supporting Lute Women's Basketball!

Q&A with Coach Lee Aduddell

What are some highlights of this year that shows your team succeeding, facing a challenge, and supporting each other?
This group of young women are the best of what college athletics is about. During a year that saw adversity and injury, our players banned together to persevere and record some of their most exciting wins at the end of the season.

What makes your student-athletes special? What you makes you feel most proud of your team?
This team is full of ambitious, compassionate and talented young women. They are excellent ambassadors to PLU and the Women’s Basketball program.

How did your team engage with the community this year?
This year our team was part of two free events targeting the kids of the Parkland community that offered free sports clinics. They volunteered their time to teach skills and serve as role models for kids hoping to be in their shoes one day.

Looking ahead, what are you most excited about for next year?
As we move into next season I am so excited about what this team can become. We will work to lay the foundations of a strong and sustainable culture while competing at the highest level possible on the court. We will remain resilient and relentless in our pursuit of excellence!

“Basketball has given me confidence and has showed me my interest in the
body and how fascinated I was with exercise science. Now I am studying to
be a physical therapist.”
