As an instructor, designer, small business owner, trainer, and technology evangelist, he integrates creative solutions to achieve desired learning outcomes.  He joined PLU in 2013 as the Instructional Technology Team Manager.

As an instructor of Visual Communications courses, Steve Sosa was presented with the 2009 Part-Time Faculty of the Year award from Edmonds Community College.
