Deadline: December 1, 2020
The PLU Presidential Scholarships recognize academic, co-curricular and leadership achievement in the incoming first-year class. The eligibility requirements for this competitive scholarship are a 3.8+ GPA OR 1310+ SAT score OR 28+ ACT score. To be considered for the scholarship, students must submit the Presidential Scholarships supplemental application, along with all other admission application materials by December 1, 2020.
Note: We realize that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted school grades AND access to tests.
If COVID has impacted your GPA and you have between a 3.75 -3.79 weighted GPA, you are still eligible to apply for the Presidential Scholarships.
PLU is a test optional school for admission and for eligibility for this scholarship.
Awards: Over 600 students apply for the President’s Scholarship each year. For the 2021-22 academic year, 125 President’s Scholars will be selected and awarded $30,000 per year for four years of undergraduate study. All President’s Scholars will then be invited to interview in February for one of ten Harstad Founder’s Scholarship ($35,000 per year for four years of undergraduate study) and one of five Regents’ Scholarship (Full tuition scholarship for four years of undergraduate study).
*Note: Presidential Scholarships awarded will replace any smaller PLU academic merit scholarship you may have previously received.
Applying: Complete the Fall 2021 Presidential Scholarships Application, along with the PLU application for admission by 11:59pm PST, December 1, 2020.
