APA Citation Resources

A key objective of the PLU Undergraduate Business program is to graduate students who are effective communicators. This is defined as the ability to “write a well-organized and grammatically correct paper, memo, or case that is informative and professional.” Correct use of citations to credit outside sources and ideas, is an important element of effectively communicating in the academic setting.

The School of Business faculty require the use of the APA Formatting and Style Guide (7th edition) for formal assignments. The resources below are available to assist students in properly documenting sources.

PLU Writing Center  – Work one-on-one trained peer writing consultants at any point in the assignment writing process. The Writing Center is located in Library 220 and appointments can be made using the online scheduling tool .
