The PLU School of Business welcomes transfer students into our community. Whether you are transferring to PLU with your Associate’s Degree or just completing a course at your local community college over the summer, we want you to know which courses can satisfy requirements for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
If you are currently attending a Washington community college, completion of the following courses will satisfy PLU requirements for the degree:
|WA Community College course
|Introduction to Business in the Global Environment
|Business Law & Ethics
|Principles of Microeconomics
|Linear Models & Calculus, an Introduction
|MATH& 148 or MATH& 151
|Introduction to Statistics
You can find a full list of equivalencies for most Washington and Oregon community colleges by going to the PLU equivalency guide. See the curriculum section for School of Business course requirements.
If you wish to transfer business specific coursework from a college or university not included in the PLU equivalency guide, please submit the proposed coursework for equivalency evaluation to the Program Director in the School of Business. Simply email your request, the course description for the course you would like reviewed, and the web address for the college or university where you will be completing the course to email@example.com.
For PLU admissions information, please contact Shaun Antrim in the Office of Admissions to request information. If you have questions about the course requirements within the degree or what opportunities are available in the School of Business, please contact Amy Stewart-Mailhiot, Undergraduate Program Director.
