PLU students, staff, or faculty who may need support may engage the following resources:

24/7

  • Campus Safety — Campus Safety staff will be on call, as needed, and can be reached through the non-emergency number at 253-535-7441.
  • Counseling Center — Counseling crisis services and consultations are available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (see below) and after hours/weekends/holidays through the PLU Counseling Center Crisis Line at 253-535-7075.

University Business Hours

  • Bias Incident Response Team  (CONFIDENTIAL) — The purpose of the BIRT is to anonymously collect data regarding instances of experienced bias within the PLU community and monitor the type and frequency of such occurrences.
  • Counseling Center  (CONFIDENTIAL) — Walk-in hours are available Monday-Friday from 10-11 a.m. and from 2-3 p.m.; call 253-535-7206 for an appointment or in person at the Counseling Center in the Anderson University Center, Suite 300.
  • Campus Ministry  (CONFIDENTIAL) — Drop-in Anderson University Center Suite 190, call 253-535-7464 to set up a meeting, or join weekly gatherings at various times. The University Pastor welcomes all students.

    • PLU Interfaith Working Group: The Interfaith Working Group consists of students, faculty and staff. Recent interfaith events include the winter Celebration of Light, a Passover Seder, the creation of a Multi-Faith Meditation and Prayer Space and the Interfaith Games.   • The Diversity Center — The Diversity Center is committed to empowering the PLU community to engage in dialogue, programs, and initiatives that promote and enhance equity, agency, and action.
    • The dCenter is hosting a feedback wall for people to write their thoughts as a way of reflection and community processing.  The dCenter invites you all to stop by the wall, read what is there and contribute as community members.
  • Center for Gender Equity — The CGE supports, challenges, and empowers students, staff, and faculty to combat gender-based oppression and enact positive social change. Our Gender-Based Violence Advocate is a CONFIDENTIAL resource for all students.
  • Health Center  (CONFIDENTIAL) — For appointments, call 253-535-7337.
  • PLU Couples and Family Therapy Clinic (CONFIDENTIAL) — For information about services and appointments, click here. The clinic offers evening appointments.
  • Student Care Network and Dean of Students Office  (CONFIDENTIAL) — Fill out a Student Care Network form or call 253-535-7159.
