Jeffrey Roberts

Profile:

Jeffrey is a dynamic storyteller with a passion for all things social media. As social media and content manager, Jeffrey can be found all around campus collaborating with students, staff and faculty members to create engaging content for the university’s social media channels. Prior to PLU, Jeffrey graduated from California Lutheran University and worked as the social media manager for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (the L in PLU). If he’s not on campus, Jeffrey is probably at the ice rink serving as a referee for collegiate, junior and youth hockey games.

Reconstructing a Gray Whale Skeleton

Biology students at PLU recently undertook a literal “whale” of a project! As part of Professor Egge’s “Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy” class, students reconstructed the skeleton of a gray whale recovered from the Puget Sound.
