Originally from Parkland, Washington, Jordan grew up just down the street from PLU and attended Washington High School! Her college journey was non-traditional, originally enrolling into technical college for an AAST Engineering program before attempting to transfer to a state university (AAST tech degree was non-transferrable) and having to start over. She eventually made it through two bachelor’s programs and a master’s degree.
Passionate about sports, health and fitness, and good food – she and her family can be found at local sporting events, gyms or parks, and restaurants throughout the week. They enjoy traveling regionally for events like the Tri Cities Water Follies races, wine tasting in Yakima, or football in Pullman.
Jordan’s parents didn’t attend college, so she had to learn as she went and knows this process can be stressful! She wants to remind you to ask any question that comes to mind while you’re learning about college. No question is a dumb question! You don’t know what you don’t know, and that’s okay.

- Who is your favorite Star Wars character or spin-off show? Jordan loves Darth Maul and the Clone Wars cartoons.
- NFL or college football – Jordan’s home has football on the tv anytime there is football to be watched. Who is your team?
- Growing up Jordan used to make pysanky eggs with her grandma – a tradition in her Czech family. What are your traditions?!
