Admission Counselor
Taezha was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington and has always had an appreciation for the people, places, and things that are often underestimated, yet have a unique sense of charm and character.
Aside from her passions for social justice, research, and higher education, she is known for dancing at any given moment, making corny jokes, and having the gift of gab. You can usually find her hanging out with her family and friends, starting a conversation with strangers, or watching some of her favorite YouTubers like Slushynoobz, Turtlewithat, and Quenlin Blackwell.
As a recent first-generation graduate at PLU, Taezha is eager to help students visualize their future and make an informed decision on where they want to go. She chose PLU because of its scholarship opportunities, closeness to home, tight-knit community, study abroad programs, and commitment to Diversity, Justice, and Sustainability. She hopes to help students find the same sense of joy and belonging that she had at PLU for a rewarding undergraduate experience!
