Joy Martin

Joy joined Pacific Lutheran University in 2025 within the Human Resources department and is excited to transition into Campus Life as the Associate Director of Campus Life Engagement. Prior to PLU, Joy worked as a Senior Program Manager at Amazon, bringing a wealth of project management experience to her first role in higher education. She holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Theatre from Florida State University. In her new role, she is especially excited to dive into marketing initiatives and assessment work to enhance the student experience.You can see Joy around campus participating in Queer Connections events and serving on the Staff Council. Outside of work, she also serves on the Board of Directors at the Lakewood Playhouse and regularly volunteers at both The Grand Cinema and Lakewold Gardens.
