Ensemble Placement Info.

Ensemble Placement Auditions for Trumpets are typically held on the Sunday afternoon before classes begin.  Here are some helpful pointers, but feel free to contact Dr. Lyman with any questions: lymanzt@plu.edu

• Ensemble auditions are required for placement into the Wind Ensemble, University Symphony Orchestra, and University Jazz Ensemble.  There is only one audition for placement into all three groups, you will be asked to fill out a form indicating your interest in these ensembles.
• Auditions are not required for placement into Concert Band, Pep Band, or chamber groups..
• The audition will last about 5 minutes. Information about audition sign-up and repertoire can be found here.
