Gulf Coast Undergraduate Research Symposium (GCURS) is hosted annually by top-ranked Rice University. GCURS provides current undergraduates the opportunity to present their original research discoveries to scholars from around the world. First hosted in 2008, GCURS is proud to be one of the longest-running and most prestigious undergraduate research conferences in the United States.

The Chemistry section is open to junior and senior undergraduates. Applications are open.

GCURS will be held for 2 days, October 8-9, 2022 at Rice University.

  • Saturday, October 8 – Student presentations & reception
  • Sunday, October 9 – Professional development talks presented by Graduate and Postdoctoral Students (GPS) and scholars
